About the Legislative Campaign
Our campaign is dedicated to building a brighter, more equitable future for our community. We are seeking motivated, creative, and detail-oriented interns to support our communications team during this election cycle. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in political communications, digital strategy, and hands-on campaign experience.
Responsibilities
As a Social Media & Editing Intern, you will:

Support daily content creation across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, Threads, etc.)

Edit short-form video content, including reels, clips, and rapid-response pieces

Assist with copywriting for posts, ads, graphics, and storytelling content

Manage social media scheduling and monitor engagement trends
-
Help brainstorm digital concepts, messaging themes, and creative strategies

Edit campaign materials such as newsletters, press releases, talking points, and website content

Track social media analytics and suggest optimization improvements

Rapid-response editing: turn around content quickly to respond to news cycles

Contribute to digital organizing initiatives and online outreach

Qualifications​

Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail

Proficiency with social media platforms and trending content styles

Basic experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, etc.)

Ability to multitask and work well in fast-paced environments

Creative mindset and willingness to pitch new ideas

Interest in politics, community organizing, or public service
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
